By day, I’m a software developer with a mix (well, a lot) of technical writing thrown in.

By night, I’m still a developer, but I also write. At least I try to.

I found my passion for writing again this past year and decided to join Medium, but decided to steer away from there and have dove right into the world of RSS and open standards.

My goal with this decision to begin to write more is to not only be able to share my thoughts and knowledge, but also to learn more about open standards and frankly try to keep my head clear.

If you're unaware, I have begun working on a project called FeedPigeon. This project has led me to be able to manage my journal directly from my email which is where I do about 90% of my day-to-day admin tasks (and read my news!). It has proven to be incredibly productive.
